THE OFFICIAL BIG BANG DANCE BATTLE on Friday, November 28, 2008 is going DOWN! Detroit, MI will host The OFFICIAL MIDWEST BIG BANG DANCE at Bert’s Warehouse in The Historical Eastern Market District from 1:00pm – 7:00pm. The competition is open to of all male & female dancers (Groups) from the Midwest Area.

THE BIG BANG DANCE BATTLE will feature some of the hottest dance styles across America.

There also will be a 'JITTING' contest battle. “Jitting” made popular in the city of Detroit is a form of dance called 'FOOTWORK' or “JUKING” which has spread to Chicago and Cincinnati where they have a similar dance style called 'JUKING’. Dance competition will introduce one of Detroit’s Hottest upcoming Hip-Hop artist Dollah Jones, and R&B princess Katrina Carson.

Dance Competition will be filmed for a televised documentary. Documentary will feature competition footage showcasing talented youth and adults with diverse and unique dance styles. In this documentary you will witness a diverse range of dance styles from jazz to hip hop to ballet, all battling for regional supremacy. We will get up close and personal with America's hottest dancers.

We will feature their journeys from the beginning to the end when they were deemed the winners of the "Big Bang Dance Competition". The selected winners will be featured in this documentary. Televised commercial of the event will be aired on Fox TV and CW50 stations in the Midwest regions.
